Zhu Zhu Pets Shortage: No End in Sight

Zhu Zhu Pets hamsters, this season’s hottest toy is still out of stock at retailers Target, Toys R Us, and Walmart.  This trend seems likely to continue even though retailers are expected to increase inventory for Black Friday sales.  The reason: purchase limits.   

Target has limited Zhu Zhu Pets purchases to four hamsters per customer.  On the other hand, Toys R Us purchase limits have gone from four pets per-customer-per-day to the more stringent one pet hamster per household according to a BusinessWeek report.  

Amazon and eBay remain the best places to purchase Zhu Zhu Pets.  They are a bit more expensive than the stores but what you’ll save in time and gas, going from store to store, will even out the costs.
